The Girls Academy League hosted the Winter Showcase and Champions League over the last four days in Norco, California. There were plenty of teams vying for attention with dozens of college coaches and scouts on hand. Following the games at Silverlakes, some of the top teams started to emerge from the field putting on convincing performances in the 05 age group.
TopDrawerSoccer highlighted Madison Nichols in their article as an individual standout in the games. Madison Nichols had a very good game for Tophat. She made good decisions on the ball and played 1 or 2 touch soccer to keep the ball moving against City SC.
Madison is ranked in the top 150 club players in the country and trains and plays with Tophat Soccer in Atlanta, Georgia as a member of the #11 ranked team in the country with the #1 soccer club in the US. Madison also plays in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with Peachtree City MOBA.
