The ECNL National Event in San Diego was the focus of the weekend in the club soccer world as college coaches, youth national team scouts, and everyone else descended on the fields in Southern California.

Madison Nichols, Tophat 05 Gold, was a standout in the midfield recording three assists on the weekend and contributing to six of the seven Tophat goals against two Georgia teams – Southern Soccer Academy and AFC Lightning. Hannah Faklaris, Layla Sirdah, Reese Black, and Katie Jamison scored goals. Elle Jarrells also contributed with an assist.
Madison is ranked in the top 150 club players in the country and trains and plays with Tophat Soccer in Atlanta, Georgia as a member of the #11 ranked team in the country with the #1 soccer club in the US. Madison also plays in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with MOBA Peachtree City.
