This past weekend marked the start of the fall club soccer season for Madison Nichols and the U17 Girls Academy (GA) Gold team at Tophat Soccer in Atlanta. The team played at home in two matches against Jacksonville, Florida opponent United Soccer Alliance. Tophat U17 GA Gold defeated United Soccer Alliance in both games on the weekend.

Madison Nichols contributed significantly to the attack and defense in the midfield coming out of the weekend with 2 assists. In Saturday’s game, Madison dribbled to the end line, beat a defender and crossed a rocket to Anna Weir who hammered it home. On Sunday, Madison placed a well-struck corner inside the 6-yard box which was headed into the net by Hannah Faklaris.
Madison is ranked in the top 150 club players in the country and trains and plays with Tophat Soccer in Atlanta, Georgia as a member of the #11 ranked team in the country with the #1 soccer club in the US. Madison also plays in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with MOBA Peachtree City.
