This week Mount Pisgah Christian School completed one of the school’s most successful girls soccer seasons narrowly losing to Atlanta International School in the second round of the state playoffs. The 10-6 season record included wins over perennial power teams Shiloh (6A), North Cobb Christian, Hebron Christian, and Fellowship Christian. Head coach Melanie Murphy was named coach of the year for 1A Region 6, and sophomore Madison Nichols was named 1st Team All-Region after a standout season in which she scored or assisted 29 of the team’s 58 goals (50%).
Madison is ranked in the top 150 club players in the country and trains and plays with Tophat Soccer in Atlanta, Georgia as a member of the #11 ranked team in the country with the #1 soccer club in the US. Madison also plays in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with MOBA Peachtree City.
