The Girls Academy League had the first clash of top teams from different conferences battling last weekend with a couple of teams from Texas heading east to take on some of the top teams in the Southeast, including Tophat vs. two Top 20 teams – Houston Dash and Lonestar. Tophat finished the weekend with a 1-0 win over #19 Houston and a 1-1 draw with #10 Lonestar. These key wins for Tophat come after it defeated #14 Weston last weekend.
